Fake a Phone: Audacity Sound Effects 1

Welcome to Part 1 of Audacity Sound Effects!  We’re going to explore some really fun stuff you can do with Audacity.

First, download Audacity (link to Audacity download page)

Second, record something (red button!).

Third, click on the track and press control -a to highlight the track.

Fourth, Click the Tracks tab, and then click resample.

Fifth, change the sample rate to 9600 (hzs), and click OK.

Sixth, click equalization.

Seventh, under select curve, check Telephone, and click OK.

Eighth, press the space bar to play!

Pretty goofy; you could make a fake interview or something.

Have fun!!
